At my studio I speak to famous stars and theater managers and I write many letters. My long workday generally finishes at eight. Sometimes I have dinner with my wife at a nice restaurant near the studio. I usually get home at ten, but I never go to bed before midnight.

TURMA A - 10/07/2015 - ATIVIDADE PARTS OF HUMAN BODY

Atividade dada em complementação ao vocabulário ensinado em sala de aula: Human Body.

CONTEÚDO

O tempo verbal que usamos para nos referir a ações habituais em inglês é o SIMPLE PRESENT.

Normalmente as frases neste tempo verbal têm a presença de palavras que indicam a frequência com que as ações acontecem:

often = frequentemente
always = sempre
rarely = raramente
usually = constantemente
occasionally = ocasionalmente
sometimes = algumas vezes
weekly = semanalmente

Exemplos:

I go to school every day. (Eu vou para a escolar todo dia)

My father plays soccer weekly. (Meu pai joga futebol semanalmente)

You take the bus every morning. (Você pega o ônibus toda manhã).

A conjugação do SIMPLE PRESENT tem  uma regra essencial na forma afirmativa:

acrescenta-se “s” ao verbo quando ele estiver sendo conjugado com a terceira pessoa do singular.

Na forma negativa e interrogativa usa-se um verbo auxiliar DO/DOES  e a conjugação fica assim:

Exemplos:

Do I need it? (Eu preciso disto?)

Do you have a summerhouse? (Você tem casa na praia?) 

How do you know she is married? (Como você sabe que ela é casada?)

Where does he work? (Onde ele trabalha?)

Does it work? (Isto funciona?)

Do we know her? (Nós a conhecemos?)

Do you have a car? (Vocês têm carro?)

Do they go out on weekends? (Eles saem nos finais de semana?)

Ø O DOES é o auxiliar  usado com He, She, It;

Ø O DO é o auxiliar usado com as demais pessoas do discurso: I, You, We, They.
